The Real ‘American Horror Story’ – Poor Fitness

october hlf blog poor fitness

There’s a popular television show titled American Horror Story, where a family is haunted by the spirits in their house. The show is fictional, but health data in the U.S. shows a horror story that is like a bad reality show:

Too many Americans are haunted by a spirit of poor fitness.

When you research fitness statistics for Americans, it’s not a report, it’s a horror story. Some research shows that Americans will spend over $4.5 trillion on health care by 2019. That’s a horror.

The American Journal of Medicine says that medical bills cause 60% of bankruptcies in America. That’s a horror.

The CDC reports that nearly half of all Americans use a prescription drug on a regular basis. That’s a horror.

But, there is hope.

By simply engaging in 3-5 hours per week of vigorous fitness, you WILL NOT be haunted by the specter of poor fitness. You will avoid traps like rising health costs, bankruptcy, or dependence on prescription drugs. In short, you’ll become a “horror-buster” who turns a potential horror into a lifestyle of hope. So, get to one of our free fitness programs at HLF-Fitness and build muscles of hope while horror atrophies and disappears.
