I love family medicine because I am the initial point of contact for a patient’s access to medical care, providing continuity of care and delivering high quality care. As a physician, it is very rewarding to see the improvement in your patient’s health status and to help improve their quality of life.
I have always wanted to become a physician for as long as I can remember, medicine was always my plan A. If I weren’t a physician, I’d probably be a stay-at-home mom. My proudest achievement in life is raising my son and seeing the person he has become. As a mother that’s the biggest accomplishment, to raise your children and see them grow to become their own person. I also love yoga and spending time with family and friends.
I strongly believe that the combination of fitness and a healthy diet are important factors for a better life. Nutrition, weight loss, and exercise should always be integrated into a patient’s treatment plan in order to improve their overall health. The most successful physician is the one who listens and builds a trusting relationship with their patients, and I want my patients to know that I treat each and every one of them as if they were my own family members. I will do everything in my power to deliver the best care possible and am always available to address my patient’s needs and concerns.
