Spring always brings colorful carpets of wildflowers to the brown desert floor, so it’s appropriate to celebrate by throwing brightly colored powder at your friends, then pounding through a color-soaked 5k course. That’s exactly what you can expect out of Color Vibe 5k, coming to the High Desert on March 28th.

From those at the Color Vibe Event:
The magical color powder we use is custom manufactured. Its produced right here in the United States, and it’s amazingly vibrant. It is made from food grade quality cornstarch. Using an advanced manufacturing process that has been custom developed for the Color Vibe Race Series. Color Vibe powder is non-flammable and is engineered to wash out very well. We could make it stain your clothes, but then it would stain your hair, skin, and toenails. We don’t want that!
Our paint powder is non-toxic, safe, and also biodegradable. As with any substance, you will want to keep it out of your eyes and lungs. If you are overly sensitive, you may want to wear glasses or goggles for your eyes and use a bandanna or dust mask for your mouth. (This is especially recommended for our younger runners/walkers). For more details on the safety of our colored powder please visit our color powder safety page.
The Color Vibe 5k run will be held at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds.
