Celebrating a Major Milestone: CDC Full Plus Recognition for Path to Vitality

We’re proud to share an exciting achievement for our team at HVVMG—our 2025 Path to Vitality program has been awarded CDC Full Plus Recognition, the highest level of recognition offered by the CDC.

This accomplishment reflects a true team effort from start to finish. What began as an idea in our very first meeting grew into a successful, impactful program thanks to the dedication and collaboration of so many individuals.

From the early stages, we had strong support in recruiting participants and managing logistics, ensuring the program ran smoothly every step of the way. Behind the scenes, consistent coordination and commitment helped keep everything on track throughout the year.

A special part of this journey was the day-to-day work that made the program meaningful for our members. From managing data and gathering feedback to engaging directly with participants, there was a constant focus on creating a positive and supportive experience.

We were also fortunate to have a welcoming space that allowed the program to thrive. Each session was thoughtfully prepared, creating an environment where participants felt comfortable, supported, and encouraged.

Of course, no program of this scale runs without a few technical and logistical hurdles. Thanks to the patience, adaptability, and teamwork of those supporting operations—from data management to printing materials—every challenge was met with solutions and a positive attitude.

More Than a Program—A Community

While this recognition is a significant achievement, the true success of Path to Vitality is reflected in the people who participated.

This was a year-long commitment, requiring consistency, effort, and dedication. While the goal was to have at least five participants complete the program, we were thrilled to see 13 individuals cross the finish line.

Even more meaningful than the numbers is what developed along the way. Participants built lasting connections, offering each other encouragement, accountability, and friendship that continues beyond the program itself.

Looking Ahead

This recognition is not just a milestone—it’s a reflection of what’s possible when a team comes together with a shared purpose. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and passion to make Path to Vitality such a success.

Thank you to everyone involved for being part of something truly impactful.

A huge thank you to Kathleen Magill and Art Lopez for spear heading this project and making it such a success!
