Guardian Medical Associates (Guardian) and Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group are very pleased to announce that Guardian's physicians will now be part of our medical group effective June 1, 2008. We warmly welcome you to our medical group and we look forward to serving your health care needs.

Primary Care
You do not need to do anything to continue to see your primary care physician. Guardian and Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group want to assure you that all the primary care physicians with Guardian [listed below] are now with us.

Dr. Wendell Wettstein will be relocating his office practice within the same complex……just a few doors down to the Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group office where he will join Dr. Beverly Nester and Dr. Betina Greer.

Specialty Care Referrals
Guardian has provided us with all the information regarding previously authorized referrals for specialty services including durable medical equipment (DME). We are working with all of the Guardian specialty and ancillary providers to ensure that your services and care are continued without interruption. You do not need to do anything regarding your specialty referral that has been previously authorized by Guardian. We will honor authorized referrals through June 30, 2008. Irma Still, Referral Coordinator with Guardian has joined us and will be available to assist you with any issues regarding referrals.

Our primary acute hospitals include St. Mary Medical Center, Victor Valley Community Hospital, Barstow Community Hospital and Bear Valley Community Hospital.

Member Services
We are committed to the highest level of customer service and will insure a smooth transition for all of the Guardian members. We are also pleased to announce that Jaimee Boucher has now joined us as a Member Service Representative. Jaimee, along with our own long time Member Service Representative, Loyda Santos, will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the coordination of your ongoing medical needs.
